In 1999, Siegfried Schulte
came up with the idea of doing more with the workshop hall.
And what could be more
appropriate than to use this room as a concert hall? So then an idea emerged
and since then enjoys near cult status in insider circles.
A concert with a colourful
programme, entertaining and primarily for good causes because each year, the
net proceeds from the concert are divided into three and directly benefit
the most diverse charitable purposes.
In the now almost 15 years of
the workshop concert tradition, we are proud to have collected almost EUR
30,000.
There are no seat
reservations / no advance ticket sales – whoever comes first gets the best
seats. For good seats, we recommend coming one half hour earlier because
meanwhile an average of 250-280 people attend our annual concert.
The preparations for this
event are not half bad. For the two days before and after, our entire
company is focussed on the organisation of the concert. The entire bank
premises have to be emptied, 300 chairs and the stage have to be brought in
and set up, tents have to be put up, and the grill and the drinks trailer
have to be set up.
Without the help of our many
loyal volunteer helpers, this would be next to impossible to achieve!
And after the concert is
before the concert. Only a few days after the workshop concert, Siegfried
Schulte is already working on the next one…
